Notice about WordPress Caching Plugins AND Updates
# 8Dweb WordPress Update & Caching Policy Changes – Effective March 1, 2025
To enhance security and performance, 8Dweb will enforce the following changes:
## Weekly WordPress Updates
Starting in 2025, WordPress Core, Themes, and Plugins will be updated every **Monday**, with additional updates for critical vulnerabilities.
## Removal of Insecure Plugins
Any plugins that are outdated and flagged as security risks will be **automatically removed**.
## Standardized Caching Plugin
Beginning **March 1, 2025**, the **only** caching plugin allowed on our CMSdefender shared hosting platform will be **Litespeed Cache (LSCache)**.
All other caching plugins will be **automatically removed** daily.
## REDIS Object Caching Activation
To further improve site performance:
- **REDIS caching will be enabled** for all WordPress sites.
- **LSCache will be automatically installed** on all WordPress sites.
- **All other cache plugins will be removed**.
