   No further issues have been observed from this work. This matter is now closed

   The non-functioning switch has been removed from service and network systems changed to bypass this particular edge-switching setup. All redundancy has been restored.

   This incident is unrelated to the earlier incident. An Edge Switch in our IAD3 facility has failed outright. Redundant systems will take over shortly.
